How do we respond to our own reactions as world events continue to alarm us? How can we work with the pain we feel knowing that so many people are suffering? There are different ways that we meet the suffering we encounter. When we meet suffering with fear and anxiety, it perpetuates itself, we feel powerless and our world grows small. But when we can meet pain with awareness, we find a natural compassion that opens us up to an inner strength that is both compassionate and wise. In this session, Myoshin Kelley will help us explore ways that we can touch into these natural qualities that we all have. The session will be held on Zoom. Myoshin Kelley has been practicing meditation for over 45 year and teaching for 30 years. She has received dharma instructions from renowned Buddhist meditation masters in the Theravada, Zen and Vajrayana traditions.
